Slacking for health

Had been slacking for the past 2 days. Haha guessed this must be the hangover effect from finishing the abdomen examination catch-up reading. Yup so had been basically lazing around and doing nothing but the feeling is good :)

Went ktv on friday night and voila the katong place is still alive and well.Yup that was the place i went to during my jc days, before the influx of k-box and party world. And guess what, its still as cheap as ever. Plus, they had so much more selection of english, korean and japanese songs that put k-box to shame. So my friends, its time to relive our past and go back to our katong karaoke instead of wasting money away at k-box (whatever place)

On a more sombre note, actually i got a bad feeling about one of my friend. I think it's likely he is having some relationship problems, based on what i see and what i hear from others. Haiz, actually wanted to ask him one but i scared it may sound a bit too kay-poh. He didn't mention anything that night though so hopefully i m thinking too much. And of course, hopefully (again) everytime will turn out fine for him.

PS: The difference between hyper- and hypo- no longer becomes so distinct when one reads it out and hence good and well-articulated speech is always a necessity

Blind Faith

Haha so Chelsea dropped their first points today but that doesn't make Mourinho a lesser manager than he was. In fact, after reading through today's report in TNP, i think i realised what makes him the best in the trade.

Yup as u guess it, the word is blind faith, or rather the lack of it. Look at Eriksson, look at Keegan, look at Ferguson and so on and so forth. They kept their belief in players who are not performing, Heskey, Shearer, Scholes and the list just goes on. but look at Mourinho, he axed Drogba when he's not performing, he axed Carvalho & Feriera despite them being his supposed "loyal servants" for inept play and look at the way he disposes Kezman after realising he was a failed investment. Ferguson used to have this ability too but i think old age made him senile already. Stick with Scholes even though he's not performing. Sell Stam and Beckham when they are really good. Refuse to drop Veron...

Yup Mr Mourinho, u are the best. All u need now is to have a golden crop of Portugese youngsters whom u can lead to international glory to cement urself as a legend. Haiz, if only Klinsmann would do the same...

Die richtig Zeit

There are things which one thinks one is quite cool about until somebody mentioned something or heard something which reminded one of it. One innocent comment from a friend and a statement from another's blog. 2 unrelated people who make the same comments in a short time frame, even though they didn't know it could strike a chord with me. It told me that maybe i wasn't as comfortable as i thought i was. I hate myself for this, i hate to hide and i hate to pretend but i m unconsciously finding myself doing that. Why is it so???

Yeah yeah i know i promise no more flowery stuff but ha no choice. There are just some topics which i guessed its not the right time to express my thoughts about it yet. Mais quand le temps?
Haha, back to the old statement, i believe u will let me know when is the right time and everything i do and say right now is part of the big picture for my good and everything will fall into its place when the right time comes.

Surprise or not surprise

Should trilogies be intricately linked so that they formed a continuous story, one that couldn't be properly told in one or 2 volumes or should they be so different that they each become a vehicle for different expressions of a single theme.

And haha of course, they could always be cheap excuses to milk the stupid and fat cash cows out there.

Hmmm... why is my blog being spammed. Its not if i update it so often...

Haha actually i was quite saddened on Monday when i saw my first failed resuscitation case but it had somehow settled over the past few days. Wanted to blog then but there was some server error or something like that and hence i failed to do so.

Oh well, been having a hectic time, trying to catch up on my reading for both medical and french. Sad to say, my overall mark for my French currently is still below the passing line by a single mark. My luck seemed to have deserted me a bit in university. The questions will somehow one way or another be on those parts which i just happened to accidentally not cover it, not like last time in secondary school or junior college where the questions will somehow be those which i have better memories of.

Anyway, i think i should cut down on the more flowery stuff and go back to the usual mundane ramblings (that is until a melancholic me decide to come up with something poetic. But hey i have always been quite poetic since secondary school days, my one new poem per autograph entry then, so its hard to keep that in check ^=^) Will have more updates that way too.. hee hee..
