Finally a WORLD CUP of epic Proportions

Whew its finally break time for the World Cup. By comparison, i actually looked forward to this lull period compared to previous year. Last time, i always dread at the fact that i will suffer from withdrawal because of the lack of soccer but this time round, its a real good break. Been real blessed this month, being assigned to a team which has very few patients. This means that i can actually stay up late for certain matches because i would be able to recuperate the following day without any compromise to my patients.

Anyway it has been a really predictable World Cup, so predictable that i gave up betting after one attempt. For the first time in dunno how long, all the favourites actually got through their group stage intact and i really mean ALL. (Some might say the Czechs did not but come on, i am saying on the level of Germany, England, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Holland, France, Spain...) Anyway, i think the last time any tournament that come close to this level was Euro 96 with Italy being the only sad case. Yup but it also showed that despite having big names, the football from some of these sides are pretty disappointing (heheh stars have shifted. Germany is playing such attractive football nowadays that i actually can say this :p) Leave coming up soon and hopefully the chalet plan can materialise although i must say i m really too busy nowadays to even contact anybody, much less to say to organise a successful chalet. Just have to see how lor

Anyway, just some updates

World Cup : On a super high in this aspect, especially with the way Germany is playing. Though fearful of the match up with the Argentines, i have the fullest faith in them (provided Ballack dun go AWOL again like what he always like to) ^=^

Job : Its going on the up, especially after all those unhappy inital moments. Plug setting skill is still a bit koyak but should get better, i hope : )

Love : Working hard but making no inroads it seemed.. Hopefully its progressing slowly and not regressing progressively.. Sianzzz.. : /

Money: Making money but doesnt seem a lot. No chance for a coupe. So sad... : (

Study: Study? What study???

Werder Rules

Yes the World Cup is finally under way. It may not be as powerful as the statement made 4 years ago when they opened with a 8-0 banging but then nevertheless, they managed to cook up up one of the most exciting opening match ever (haha although i will not say its really very exciting cos it feels more like a friendly) but at least the attack is still there from last year's Confederation Cup (sad thing is the defensive joke is still there also. Poor Metzelder, not only has he become lousier, he has become uglier too) Ha anyway, it pays to field more players from the best attacking team in the Bundesliga. 3 of the 4 goals coming from Bremen players. Bremen rules!!!!!!!

Haha anyway, now that the first match is over, really need to go back and settle my calls in the coming weeks. Its totally screwed up. My 4th call is on the day immediately after Germany plays Poland, i.e. a potential 36 hour no sleep day coming up while my 6th call lands on the day where they are likely to be playing in the round of 16 (if they qualify as group winners) Sighz... What is worse is that the 4th call that i m intending to change is likely to fall on the day of the 1st quarter final. That sucks totally... Haiz... Really hope i can change my calls...
