Motivation Issues
Its been a long time since i last blogged, closed to 3 months i think but its really hard cos blogging requires the below formula
Blogging = Inspiration + Working computer with - Addiction
motivation good connection
Its almost impossible to get all the factor in at any one time and thus its really hard to get the motivation. But anyway, nothing much had changed in my life, at least no extra joyous occasion which i must blog to share with everyone (and maybe that's the reason why ther's not much to blog) Quite a lot of sian things did happen (although its not like major catastrophic things) but since i dun feel like blogging it, i shall not elaborate more on it.
Went for another spin down the Marina street circuit, given that it will be closed from tomorrow. The F1 never fails to bring back memories as i can still vividly remember my first racing game on the Sega Mega Drive was that of Formula One. It was an age where memory card was non exsistent and i could only play the first 10 races of the circuit. It was a time where i can only dream of using the Benetton and Minardi (dun even need to mention the Ferrari, Williams and McClaren) Jordan was a class A team then (how times have changed). I love the simple Hungarian circuit and was always cursing at the difficulty of the San Marino circuit (which true to life, is also the one which claimed lives, including that of the great Aryton Senna). Had been trying pretty hard to get another F1 game for the new generation consoles (Its out-of-stock in Singapore. Saw it in Naples but was scared off by the price. Thought i would see it somewhere else but only managed to find it in Prague which was in the Eastern European language and hence it was out also. The Dubai shop only sell it as a packaged deal, so in conclusion, i had travelled half the world trying to find it but to no avail...)
The Anderson Bridge portion was sealed off just now as i was driving through (possibly they do not want to add more stress to it) . Realised the Merlion was not in view also. Its a pity that we are travelling in the other direction for i realised that one will not be able to take in the bright lights of the Shenton buildings as we will be more distracted by VCH and the Asian Civilisation museum. The Singapore Flyer was beautiful but think they forgot to colour the spokes so it actually looked quite unimpressive. After having seen how terrible Valencia turned out (yes, Valencia is a very pretty city when walking through but the drive through totally did not manage to bring that out) . Oh one more thing, i actually had a chance to drive through the right angled bend at the bay grandstand (where my seat will be) and its really shiok. Totally epitomises the essence of a night race for its just like in the games where u drive through an undergorund tunnel to emerge out to flashing lights and making that sharp turn. Kudos to the designer. The other highlight which i wasnt able to do but is making me all excited thinking about it is the drive down the Esplanade straight. Just imagine this, u r travelling down a slope (thus negating a lot of the advantage the faster cars have and u have to make a sharp turn at the end of it. Cool right! The adrenaline of being able to brake hard into a curve is indescribable.
Ok thats about it. really feeling excited about it. Still not sure if my ticket is in the same segment as YH and JM but anyone else out there who holds a dark green or walkabout ticket, seeya at the races ^-^
