Relegation can be quite Exciting
Warning: For people who watches football only. U may be bored to death if u r not one!
Too tired to blog yesterday but whew the images are still fresh in my mind. Can't believe the Premiership could still be so exciting with Chelsea ramapagin all along. Anyway, i had wanted WBA to survive, reasons not being very convincing though. I mean its really funny but haha they had one of the most ugliest team around. (and what i meant is physically ugly, not playing ugly just look at the players. i know i m being evil here but its really true... ...) Anyway i think its the Robbo connection that led me to support them bah, just like how i started supporting Boro back then. Anyway the reasons for not supporting the other teams are as follow:
Southampton: Didn't really hate them that much but i just can't stand Harry Redknapp. Very irritated whenever i looked at him. But i do like Beattie and Crouch. Suppport: 30%
Crystal Palace: The one team that i didn't want to see survive. No players that i like. Don't like the colour of their jersey. Think their name sound terrible. Stadium also not nice sounding. Basically, everything i don't like. Support: 0%
Norwich: The other viable alternative to WBA. Main reason is their jersey is yellow, yes big bright yellow. Plus their players don't look that bad and they have nice sounding names. One of the more kan de shun yan team. Support: 70%
Anyway, after half time, Southampton was the one surviving. Not really happy but still okay cos WBA need only a goal to reverse everything. Then simultaneously, WBA scored while Southampton conceeded. Couldn't hide my excitement then. But shortly after, Crystal Palace were up. I was totally grossed out. The one team i didn't want to see survive reverse their score from a goal down to a goal up. Pheeewwww!!!!!!!!!!! But then with 10 min remaining, they lost their lead. WBA was up again and that was the end of everything
Realised my english isn't that good to capture all my emotions but wow its definitely worth savouring again. Hopefully this will be the good sign to say that my beloved Werder Bremen will be able to do the same next week and qualify for the Champions League.
